well, take the course. it also can give you insurance discounts.

I heard that if your scores are good enough you don't have to do the riding portion for your license

untrue, the riders course takes care of the riding time. all you have to do is go to the dmv and take a written test. if you didnt take the course then you have to go there on a bike, have insurance, and drive around in front of a state trooper.
so you might as well go to the course, couldnt hurt.

sweet thanks for clearin that up, cuz' I heard if you score like >85% on written you don't have to do the riding portion

hmmm, unless things have changed recently, no.
i suppose you could go to the dmv and ask anyway. i could be wrong. theres always room for error. but as it was explained to me at the course and at the dmv it doesnt work like that.
the course is pretty cool though. you get to see hot ladies that are going to start riding. thats always a plus.
